These
celebrations for Fiestas Patrias were really longest, ideal to escape the
routine. I stayed in Santiago and I saved the horrible trafficked on the main
road. All began on September 14th, i was to the “FAU fonda” with my friends
from the university, we enjoyed of the live music and then dancing in the
"Agora" meanwhile we drank "earthquake". Later i went to
the birthday party of my school friend, we ate "choripanes" and drank
"piscola" while we caught up.
The next days i spent time with my family and my
friends. The Sunday and Tuesday I had a barbeques with my family (mother,
father, uncle, aunt and cousins) without my sister and my brother because they
were in the beach for escaping from the smog of the capital. The Thursday in
the evening I went to the friend house and we met with our school friends. We
played "rayuela" and bet with a penance for who will be the loser.
After, some danced “cueca” and “cumbia” while others drank chicha. Subsequently
we went to another house friend, near to this place for made the after hour,
and we stay there until early morning.
I enjoyed this national holidays, was a great time but this week I have a little jet-lag.
